Code Green Networks offers content protection solutions that help companies and government agencies mitigate the risk of unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information.  While traditional security products protect against hackers, viruses, spam and other commonly known threats initiated from the outside of the network, there is an increasing need for solutions to protect against information leaks initiated from the inside.  Without adequate content protection, individuals are able to send sensitive information, either inadvertently or maliciously, to external parties.  Such unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information can result in loss of revenue, financial penalties, and irreparable damage to a corporation's or agency's reputation and effectiveness.

Code Green is an appliance, acting as a packet monitor, ICAP, and/or MTA, that sits near the firewall for outgoing data loss/prevention/data leakage. 
The rules/policy engine does deep content fingerprinting of data (390 file formats) and then it provides Content Management & Filtering ("CM&F") of any outgoing data for:
(a)  all types of outgoing data (eg. database data, SSNs, credit card data, non-public information, financials, source code, strategic plans, product designs, CAD drawing/plans, contracts, M&A, research, R&D, internal correspondence), and
(b)  all methods of sending that outgoing data (eg. via email, FTP, TCP, HTTP, SSL, webmail, IM)
